Eliminate Geopathic Stress Problems with EFT

When you are feeling stressed you will probably blame outside circumstances or other people\’s behaviour for your demise. You may think that it is your partner, the kids or your job that are to blame. Maybe you have not had that holiday and are feeling very tired? Whatever the excuses you may have for your stressed state of mind, chances are that you have overlooked an important factor: Geopathic Stress.

What is geopathic stress?

Geopathic stress is caused by subterranean running water, underground plateaus or fault lines which distort the natural vibrations of the earth. These distortions cause harm to living organisms.

If you are regularly suffering from colds ,insomnia, and a general feeling of irritability, feeling you have more problems then most people for no obvious reason, you are likely to be either sleeping or working in a geopathically stressed place.

How does geopathic stress impact on our health?

When you are exposed for long periods to geopathic stress your immune system is under constant pressure because G.S. loweres the vibrational energy of your body. The more time you spend in a geopathically stressed place the more your body will have to try to compensate for the stress, working extra hard to restore itself to its normal vibrational level.Whilst in this state the body lacks the resources to do its normal maintenance and repair work which normally keeps you healthy mentally and emotionally. As your body gets more depleted over time, you become more susceptible to emotional and physical illness. In extreme cases you will be unable to recover your health whilst you are exposed to the geopathic stress.

Scary as this sounds, there are fortunately tools available to deal with the effects of geopathic stress and eliminate it completely.Early recognition is key.A good place to start is by keeping your body\’s vibrational energy as high as possible. How can you do this?

Be vigilant of the early signs of stress. Notice if you are feeling more stressed out in certain places. Don\’t let your problems get out of hand. Instead, nip them in the bud. You can do this simply by learning an energy technique which helps to re-align the vibrational energy in your system.

One of the best techniques available is EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique.

EFT is simple, powerful and effective. When using EFT you focus the mind on a specific problem, whilst at the same time tapping with your fingertips on a number of meridian points to stimulate the body\’s energy system.Mind focus together with the action of physical tapping is a very fast way to change your vibrational energy almost instantaneously.

As you feel your energy increasing you dissolve any resistance to changing your mind state.\r You now move effortlessly into problem solving mode.\r You continue tapping and focusing on the issue you wish to resolve.

By tuning into the vibrational frequency of your emotional state you can change it quickly thus releasing the unwanted emotion and creating the space for positive thoughts and feelings to enter. As a result your emotional state can be changed in a matter of minutes rather then days or months. You can learn it easily and get fast results whereever you are.

Does More Holiday Time Mean Greater Stress?
We have never had it so good. Workers in the west now enjoy more holidays and less time spent at work than they have ever had before. However, despite this wonderful news more people suffer with stress now than they have ever done before. Now I'm not for a moment suggesting that there is some link between the two but it does seem sad to me that we now have a greater reason to be less stressed and yet we find that we are suffering more. As a healthy business owner or independent professional, how do you end your year? Well, I tell my clients to stop working. That's right, stop working. The kind of work I'm talking about is the work of getting new business. There is no new business in the dark days of winter, just the clean up of old business. If you have clients that must spend in order to deduct prior to years end, go to it. This is for those who have the time to take the time...

Laurie David\’s List

I decided it was time for a Climate Change 101 refresher course. The best I could find was Laurie Davids list (http://www.stopglobalwarming.org). Here it is, the list of all I should be doing to do my full share as a green girl wannabe:

1) Use compact fluorescent bulbs. Replace 3 frequently used light bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs. Save 300 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $60 per year.

I have Prad to thank for that one, and also the City of Palo Alto. He is replacing the old bulbs systematically with the new CFBs. The city gives each household, five for a dollar.

2) Inflate your tires. Keep the tires on your car adequately inflated. Check them monthly. Save 250 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $840 per year.

Prad does it for all our cars.

3) Change your air filter. Check your cars air filter monthly. Save 800 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $130 per year.

Prad does it.

4) Fill the dishwasher. Run your dishwasher only with a full load. Save 100 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $40 per year. Save 200lbs of carbon dioxide and $40 per year. Use the energy-saving settings to dry dishes and dont use heat when drying.

Prad insists on that one, and we all go along. Except there is the problem of the food drying up, and the need to rinse the dishes thoroughly before we load them. A big source of conflict in our family, since the kids especially are not as meticulous, as Prad would like them to. As usual, I am a lot more casual. If a plate does not get washed right the first time, I just put it in the dishwasher for a second wash. Bad ,bad ,bad . . .

5) Use recycled paper. Make sure your printer paper is 100% post consumer recycled paper. Save 5 lbs. of carbon dioxide per ream of paper.

That one, I do. It is easy, just buy the other kind of paper, it is cheaper too.

6) Adjust your thermostat. Move your heater thermostat down two degrees in winter and up two degrees in the summer. Save 2000 lbs of carbon dioxide and $98 per year.

I had a hard time with turning down the heat in the winter, initially. In France, I had been used to living cozy in a warm home. Prad convinced me, and I am just wearing an extra layer now. The kids are usually always warm, so no complaints there. In the summer, I have never liked the air conditioner. This is not a comfort I grew up with, so it is not hard to give up

7) Check your water heater. Keep your water heater thermostat no higher than 120F. Save 550 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $30 per year.

I am pretty sure Prad took care of it.

8) Change the AC filter. Clean or replace dirty air conditioner filters as recommended. Save 350 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $150 per year.

Prad, to thank again.

9) Take Shorter Showers. Showers account for 2/3 of all water heating costs. Save 350 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $99 per year.

You mean I can only have one minute showers? I am not there yet, and neither is anybody else in our household, Prad included. The high pressure shower is one of those American indulgences that is hard to give up, a sensual pleasure way up there on the Feel Good scale.

10) Install a low-flow showerhead. Using less water in the shower means less energy to heat the water. Save 350 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $150.

Of course, we have those! Still pretty good. No shampoo left in my hair after a shower.

11) Buy products locally. Buy locally and reduce the amount of energy required to drive your products to your store.

In my circles, that usually equates to a weekly visit to the Farmers Market.

12) Buy energy certificates. Help spur the renewable energy market and cut global warming pollution by buying wind certificates and green tags.

What s that? I think I have seen those at the Whole Foods checkout counter.

13) Buy minimally packaged goods. Less packaging could reduce your garbage by about 10%. Save 1,200 pounds of carbon dioxide and $1,000 per year.

That one is such an obvious one. Whenever I buy stuff, I systematically ask for no wrapping paper, and no shopping bag.

14) Buy a hybrid car. The average driver could save 16,000 lbs. of CO2 and $3,750 per year driving a hybrid.

Thanks Prad, for buying the Prius. I love it. Its pretty, drives like a charm, and does not eat up gas like my previous car.

15) Buy a fuel efficient car. Getting a few extra miles per gallon makes a big difference. Save thousands of lbs. of CO2 and a lot of money per year.

We need to get rid of the Toyota Landcruiser, our pre Al Gore legacy. Still useful for those times when we need to pile up seven teenagers in the car. With the children getting their own cars now, it has to go. Prad s convertible Mercedes is also on our list of to go cars. I am tired of Prad always borrowing my Prius.

16) Carpool when you can. Own a big vehicle? Carpooling with friends and co-workers saves fuel. Save 790 lbs. of carbon dioxide and hundreds of dollars per year.

Prad tries to incite me to make less trips and to combine our errands. I still relish the sense of freedom, from not having to plan and taking my car whenever I feel like it.

17) Reduce garbage. Buy products with less packaging and recycle paper, plastic and glass. Save 1,000 lbs. of carbon dioxide per year.

I am pretty good there. Still, the amount of garbage we generate, is appalling. The worst are the plastic bags which cannot be recycled.

18) Plant a tree. Trees suck up carbon dioxide and make clean air for us to breathe. Save 2,000 lbs. of carbon dioxide per year.

Sorry, I do not have a green thumb, and cannot ever recall planting anything. Never mind, that I championed The Witness Trees Project, a big environmental education initiative with old urban trees. . .

19) Insulate your water heater. Keep your water heater insulated could save 1,000 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $40 per year.

Thanks Prad. Again.

20) Replace old appliances. Inefficient appliances waste energy. Save hundreds of lbs. of carbon dioxide and hundreds of dollars per year.

Done, when we moved into our new house.

21) Weatherize your home. Caulk and weather strip your doorways and windows. Save 1,700 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $274 per year.

Prad is very proud of our highly energy-efficient home.

22) Use a push mower. Use your muscles instead of fossil fuels and get some exercise. Save 80 lbs of carbon dioxide per year.

Even Prad has given into the electric kind.

23) Unplug un-used electronics. Even when electronic devices are turned off, they use energy. Save over 1,000 lbs of carbon dioxide and $256 per year.

Weve got ways to go, there. We are so plugged in! With the exception of Prad, who is religious about turning off his computer.

24) Put on a sweater. Instead of turning up the heat in your home, wear more clothes Save 1,000 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $250 per year.

Wasnt that covered earlier in the list?

25) Insulate your home. Make sure your walls and ceilings are insulated. Save 2,000 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $245 per year.

Yes, you bet. Thanks to Prad.

26) Air dry your clothes. Line-dry your clothes in the spring and summer instead of using the dryer. Save 700 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $75 per year.

I used to think Prad was some kind of lunatic, with his habit of air drying all his laundry. I am slowly coming around, even considering investing in a real clothesline for the outside . . .

27) Switch to a tankless water heater. Your water will be heated as you use it rather than keeping a tank of hot water. Save 300 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $390 per year.

I dont know what that is. I will have to discuss with Prad, my in house engineer/environmental expert.

28) Switch to double pane windows. Double pane windows keep more heat inside your home so you use less energy. Save 10,000 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $436 per year.

Done. By Prad, when we built the house.

29) Buy organic food. The chemicals used in modern agriculture pollute the water supply, and require energy to produce.

I could be a poster babe for Whole Foods.

30) Bring cloth bags to the market. Using your own cloth bag instead of plastic or paper bags reduces waste and requires no additional energy.

No additional energy? If it was that easy, how come I keep forgetting?

31) Install a ceiling fan instead of air conditioning.

We do not use air conditioning. Wasnt that covered earlier in the list?

32) Choose re-usable cleaning products like sponges instead of paper towels that cause excess waste

I really should. And I dont.

33) Check your oven timer instead of opening the door.

I never use the timer. I like to peak in, once in a while.

34) Cover your pots when boiling water.

I did not think of this. I will try to remember.

35) Use microwave for smaller heating jobs.

Or better yet, use the toaster oven. That one is a Prads idea. He and my daughter go at it, when she insists on using the big oven for small baking projects.

36) Sign up for renewable energy.

You bet.

37) Check with utility provider to see if they have a renewable energy, or green power program.

Palo Alto is amongst the greenest cities in the US. They have a great program. Prad signed up, of course.

38) Choose library books over buying new ones and share your own books with friends.

I love the library. I stopped buying books a long time ago, after my divorce, when my fortune took a turn for the worse. The habit has stayed with me.

39) Eat local food once a week. Food grown locally does not travel the typical 1,500 miles to get to your plate.

Last Sunday, we went to the farmers market with our friends, and all prepared lunch together afterwards, with the produce we had just bought. I wanted to use fresh mozzarella in the salad, though. I found some in the fridge, that I had bought at Whole Foods. Was that local?

40) Rethink take-out habit. Take-out food waste, like containers and plastic bags, is usually non-recyclable and has increased significantly over the recent decades.

Prad and I are big take-out offenders. Often times, we do not want to bother with cooking, and the kids much prefer Chinese or Mexican take out, anyway. I must say, I cringe, whenever I have to dispose of all the cartons, the Styrofoam boxes, the soiled wrappers.

41) Buy clothes made from organic cotton and support brands that dont use harmful chemicals.

I would, if the style went with it.

42) Buy products with recycled content and increase your recycling at home by 10%

I usually do not check for recycled content. Prad is getting on our case for not making more of an effort with recycling.

43) Take a shower instead of a bath. Baths can take up to 50 gallons of water.

We are all shower people in our house, with the exception of Catherine, who loves her baths.

44) Grow plants instead of buying fake ones. They look better and improve the air.

I come from France, where we do not like fake things.

45) Print and make copies on both sides of the paper to save trees and ink.

Thats good when you have a printer specially configured for double sided printing. Mine is not that good. I have to admit, I am a big paper waster. Lots of room for improvement there!

Going through the list took a lot of time. Thanks to Prad, we are not doing too bad.

The Double Edged Sword Will Get You

Are You Living With A Double Edged Sword?

Are you very driven?

What am I talking about? Many people who are strivers and achievers are very driven. Deep down inside , they have some buttons that are pushing them relentlessly. In many cases, they dont even know it. They live with the double edged sword.

Energy and drive are a plus for them up to a point. I am referring to high achievers and career minded people. After that point is reached, this drive, if not controlled, can work against the individual.

Maybe you are your worst enemy?

How so? Ambition and drive can serve an individual well during the initial stages of ones career. After someone has reached a certain degree of progress and achievement, qualities other than drive and ambition become more important. Usually middle management is where the disparity or double edged sword becomes pertinent.

As one aspires and progresses through the executive ranks of his company, the demands on an individual change.

Commitment

What is usually important, in most cases, is commitment and dedication to the cooperate goals of the stated company. Things like wisdom, judgment, leadership abilities, and the ability to maintain a reasonable cooperative attitude and high morale among workers becomes essential.

Balance

Coinciding with ones career drive, is a necessity for maintaining and growing in ones personal life. This, contrary to what many people think, is an absolute necessity.

You need this balance, healthy attention to career and personal life inorder to continue an upward growth pattern, personal and professional. Thats right. You have to grow your family relationships just like you grow your career. If you don\’t you are facing the double edged sword, favoring career over personal life.

Ignore personal life.

It is human nature for the high achiever, to ignore the personal life in favor of the career. This is a terrible mistake. Why? Because eventually, favoring your career over your personal life will cause you big time destruction. Most importantly, the high achiever, will end up facing personal destruction and negativity both career wise and personally.

By ignoring your personal life, your family life, as times moves on, you can expect a troubled spouse and children. This can lead to divorce and all kinds of problems for your children.

You need quality \”time\”.

In another words, if you want Quality Relationships, you have to invest quality time with your loved ones. There is no short cut or magic pill. This business of I dont spend much time with my family, but when I do, its very quality time, is pure hogwash. You definitely will face the consequence of living with a double edged sword.

Its not just your family that pays a price. You do also. Big time. And, where it hurts most. Right where your heart and soul isyour ambition and career. Like career burnout.

And, how do you pay a price?

Your personal life can very well end up a disaster. If you are young and ambitious, most likely none of this is a concern to you. This is mother natures way of pulling the wool over your eyes. Unless you are borderline psychopathic, your latter years will pay you back with a big bill of costs.

Just look at the Headliners in most walks of life. Business, sports, you name it. There are a whole bunch of Movers and Shakers out there that are facing all kinds of family problems.

They are saddled with big alimony checks, they have gone through two or three spouses, their kids dont respect them and most importantly, they dont want anything to do with the Big Enchilada. this is what happens when you live with a double edged sword.

And, these losers, oh excuse me, we dont want to diminish the American Dream, are holding a big bag of regrets. So what good is all of that money and success? I guess it can pay for all of that misery they have or is coming 100 mph down the road at them.

You want proof?

You want some proof? Or, maybe you doubt the wisdom of this article. Just go visit any hospital. Check out the rooms of patients that are empty and lonely. You know, like the patient has no company or close family visiting them. Believe me, these sick old guys and gals arent thinking to themselves, Gee, I am so happy because I have a million dollars in the bank or whatever.

And for what? For a few slaps on the back and a couple nice promotions and pay raises. Your kidding?

I am saying, go for the Gold and get as much of that good stuff as you can, but, at all costs, keep your balance and perspective. Dont forget family priorities. Money and success are wonderful, but your family is irreplaceable. I can guarantee you, for the long haul of happiness, you cant afford to short change your family members. What goes around really does come around.

Thought - The Double Edged Sword
Earl Nightingale quoted in his best selling audio program "The Strangest Secret" "A Man is what he thinks about" I believe it is true today than it was back then. A man is what he thinks about. Double Wide Mobile Homes vs Single Wide Mobile Homes
Over the past decade or so, manufactured homes (still commonly referred to as mobile homes) have become a great option for new homebuyers. Heroes and their stories make up a large body of literature. From our early childhood we have been enthralled by the adventures of brave souls who have done great deeds. The Attitude Factor

Diligence and industry are commendable even noble, but no one has ever achieved meaningful success by dint of hard work alone. Turning up for a job interview or a sporting competition is very important, but that alone does not guarantee success. Having goals and resolutions is helpful, but as many people will testify this on its own does not mean that they will be achieved. Having a product may qualify you to call on a customer but will not necessarily win you the order. Such is the nature of life. There are factors that will take you as far as the door step, and then there are other factors that will unlock the door. Put differently, there are qualifying factors and there are winning factors. Qualifying factors are necessary for success, but on their own they are not sufficient.

No where is this important factor better illustrated than in the jungle. The lion is not the biggest animal in the jungle, and yet it is the king of the jungle. This tells us that size does matter, but size is not everything. The giraffe is the tallest, far taller than the lion but there is no prize for telling who devours who for diner. When it comes to battle the tall giraffe is reduced to a very small dwarf by the lion. The lion is not reputed for its speed because the prize for the speed king is for the cheetah. Neither is the lion the most intelligent nor the most skillful, for foxes are known to be much more cunning and crafty. As for horns the lion has none, and the buffalo has probably the sharpest and yet the lion feeds on buffaloes.

By all accounts the lion is not the biggest, not the most intelligent, not the most talented, not the quickest and not the strongest. In terms of physical attributes it is just an average guy. However, according to the order of the jungle he is the indomitable king. Why is this so? What the other animals have are necessary attributes for survival in the jungle, but they are not sufficient for the ultimate victory. With all these strengths the other animals still lack something. The lion on the other hand is not richly endowed with the necessary attributes, but has an abundance of the winning factor. The lion has the winning mentality. To use contemporary language, the lion has a mega size attitude. This shines through everything that the lion does. It resonates in its roar. It is evident in its stately walk. It shines in its eyes and is reflected on its fierce face.

It is not what the lion has that makes it the king of the jungle, but it is the attitude with which it uses what it has. Likewise, it is not what a person has, in terms of talent, strength and resources that determine his level of achievement. It is the attitude with which he uses what he has. We all rise and fall according to our attitudes. Our attitudes are pointers guiding us in the direction in which our lives will travel. The attitude of the lion is characterized by tenacity, ferocity, boldness, and confidence. Winners are in many ways like lions. They bring the winning attitude to the table in everything they do. They do not whimper like small kittens when faced with problems. They do not turn away and run like mice, but they are as bold as lions. Winners understand that it is in battle that champions are crowned, and where success is carved. Therefore, they stand and do whatever it takes to win. They choose to fight. Losers run away from challenges and search always for the path of least resistance but where resistance is little the rewards are also limited.

Winners choose fight, but losers choose flight.

In the jungle the animal that chooses the way of flight rather than to fight will always be chased and be the hunted. Without exception when two animals are fighting when one begins to run away the other chases it and attacks it mercilessly. This is also true about the battle for success. There is a breed of person that is always running away from challenges. This person never tastes the sweetness of victory nor the bitterness of sweat and set backs. He confines himself to the ranks of the mediocre that always play it safe. Ironically, they never achieve peace of mind because the challenges of this life haunt them and give them no rest. There are also the lions who will not hesitate to even create challenges so as to advance their ambitions. They face the heat without flinching, but in the end the rewards are generous.

An Uncontested Divorce - Is it Right for You?

Coaching is Asking the Right Questions

Having your brain search for the answers to bad questions gives you bad answers. You'll get answers like...

A Mountain of Genuine Emotion Where Rejection Anger and Compassion Are Revealed

When Jesus Christ rode down the Mount of Olives, he looked over Jerusalem and wept. People were not interested in coming to him, for shelter and protection. Being ignored and rejected brought tears of tremendous sadness to his eyes. Jesus realised the tragic consequences.

He viewed the Temple, which was full of dead religion and devoid of spiritual life. Here was the living God approaching the city and the city did not want him.

At the top of the hill crowds were shouting \’Hosanna\’, which means, \’save us now\’, but these men thought Jesus was going to rescue them, politically, from their Roman masters.

Jesus comes to rescue and save people from sin. Replacing one government with a different government is never the answer, if sin continues to dominate.

Israel had been looking for this day for a thousand years and they missed its significance. People knew Jesus was special. Their prayer is specific and direct, with a note of urgency. Having seen the miracles, which he performed, the whole crowd praised God.

When you see God at work you do want to praise him.

Crowds are praising, but Jesus is weeping. If only the people had realised that they, and Jerusalem, could have received peace there and then. Rejection has resulted in so much suffering over these past 2,000 years.

Others resented every syllable of praise given to Jesus Christ, asking Jesus to rebuke these disciples and tell them to keep quiet. The critics would only call Jesus, teacher. They never used the word, Lord.

Jesus has to become more than a good teacher or concerned master. There comes that point where Jesus Christ must be recognised, acknowledged and confessed as Saviour, Lord and King.

Having ridden down the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, on a donkey, to fulfil a 500-year-old prophecy, Jesus Christ entered the city. Was the Saviour of the world about to save his people politically, and deal with the rule of Rome? No.

To the right of that gate in the city wall lay the Antonio fortress, the headquarters of the Roman authorities. Jesus did not turn right. He turned left approaching the Temple, which resembled a market place. He overturned the tables of merchants and moneychangers.

The Temple was intended to be a place of prayer and worship for all nations and peoples. It had become a den of thieves. Travelling to Jerusalem was dangerous. You ran the risk of being attacked and robbed as gangs emerged from wilderness caves. When you reached the Temple, you should have been safe, but people were being financially mugged and done, in the place appointed for prayer.

Jesus Christ drove out everything that ought never to have been in the church of that day. Strong stuff! Strong man, this Jesus!

Here is righteous love, displaying sinless anger at the misuse of what God had given to help men be holy. When Jesus confronted sin he was not soft or compromising.

Who would dare approach Jesus Christ in this frame of mind? That was never a problem. The blind and the lame came to him and he healed them. The same hands that drove out what should never have been permitted, then touched eyes and limbs for healing.

Children continued to shout \’Hosanna\’ - \’save us now\’ - as broken bodies were being repaired - and his critics were indignant at what he was doing.

This was a day of remarkable emotions. The Christian Life is full of emotion but we must every guard against emotionalism. These are two very different concepts.

Speak from Your Heart
What does it mean to speak from your heart? And why is it important to do so when speaking in a business context? We start with the reason we give speeches and presentations in the first place: to deliver a message. Is it simply to deliver the message, or is it to get people to do something with the...

Personal Change: Self Help/Self Improvement Is Alchemy
What can an ancient comedian teach us about self help? Surprisingly - a lot. In the 16th century there was a humanist named Erasmus of Rotterdam who wrote a comedic piece about the tension that exists between the human emotion and human reason. In his writing he used the ratio of 24:1 to describe the power of emotion over reason. Of course, in the 16th century they didn't use the term, self help! The exactness of this ratio may or may not be a...

The Seven Letter Word - Perfect!

Be ye therefore PERFECT, even as your Father which is in heaven is\r PERFECT. Matthew 5:48, KJV.

Dearly Beloved Friend,

Most of us have trained our minds that we cannot achieve a status that\r is perfect. However, if we look at the same term from the perspective\r that is portrayed below, the reality of the fact that we can be perfect\r can be brought back home. In actual sense, the creator did not expect\r its creatures to malfunction, we are expected to function as designed\r and being focused towards perfection is not an exemption.

Let us see PERFECT as a word in a new dimension

(P)OLITE: If only this attitude can be imbibed, though sometimes it\r makes us look dummy or feel cheated but, it is one of the seven steps to\r being (P)ERFECT! Being POLITE in all what we lay our hands on can drive\r our success closer!

(E)FFICIENT: This has to do with time. Whosoever we come across in our\r life, the first three seconds to three minutes characterize the most\r powerful space of time we have to express our efficiency. The whole\r support that may be needed at a particular point may be missed due to\r inadequate or wrongful use of the powerful glimpse of time between the\r first contact. One may wonder what can be achieved within three seconds\r and three minutes but here is an example of a lot facial expressions\r may go a long mile what of the smile? You can be P(E)RFECT!

(R)ESPECTFUL: One good turn deserves another. Courtesy begets courtesy.\r What you do not want others to do to you, why not keep it off? It should\r not be surprising that even a small kid knows what respect is all about.\r You just start by respecting such a kid and see the returns. Sometimes,\r bliss is not always the reverse but you enjoy the freedom of your mind\r and can be happy for being respectful. Its a law to be respective we\r all know but in addition to being a law, whatsoever you respect comes to\r you Note it, whatsoever. Money, Friends, Books, Studies, You name\r it! Be PE(R)FECT!

(F)RIENDLY: Working towards being a PER(F)ECT soul, spirit and bodied\r person, friendliness is not left out. To find friends, be a friend.\r There is however a very great need for caution on this step towards\r being a better you. Friends are your images. They are your guides both\r upwards, downwards, left, right, forward, backwards, diagonally and\r centre. Dont be tricked into friendship. You must have heard that you\r dont have to be choosy about who your friends are, that is one of the\r greatest wrongs about friendship. Sincerely yours, you have to be\r extremely choosy and selective. To top it, dont allow your friends to\r choose you, you choose them. Friends dont have to fill a house because\r of party days, true friends may be one, two or at most three! If you\r call a dozen of people your friends, perhaps you are not working towards\r perfection and may really need to check it all out again. There is a\r gallant difference between associates, workmates, playmates, success\r builders, neighbours, schoolmates, inner circle and FRIENDS. Classify\r these things and dont mingle them. Know where each person falls. Show\r me your FRIEND(S) and I will tell you who you are! Your Friends are your\r shadows!

(E)NTHUSIASTIC: Of course, to move ahead in life, you must wear on you\r an enthusiastic mind always. Not a mind that is down cast at every\r failures but the one that has hope. The mind that believes in all\r things, hopes all things and know that there is no thing as permanent\r failure, only temporary defeat. Fully blown with the assurance that\r whatsoever is good that comes across the human mind is realistic and\r possible over terrains of difficulties and tests. Enthusiasm makes the\r progress and achieves what is known as success and enthusiasts are\r globally called winners! Even you reading this can still be PERF(E)CT!

(C)HEERFUL: Smile confuses people. So also is a cheerful spirit! When\r there exist cheers, one dont get lost in the world of thinking. Action\r springs out of a cheerful soul. Even when the environment means war and\r promises death, looming of dangers and threats are paramount, life goes\r on smooth within. Where will a cheerful soul find room for FEAR? In the\r actual sense, such a soul knows there is something called fear but it\r overcame fear long before it encountered fear. How? By focusing on its\r goal regard less! Its possible to become PERFE(C)T!

(T)ACTFUL: Its a two word statement merged into one. TACT-FULL! How\r come? In all we do here on planet earth, some level of intelligence is\r required. No intelligence originated out of foolishness! You laugh? But\r thats true. Right Thinking. Right Results! If you continue to do\r something for what seems to be the end of your life, and you fully\r engage in it knowing critically well that you are not adding value to\r this present 21st century, why continue? Being PERFEC(T) does not mean\r being out of common sense. Some will say no sense is common, but of\r course, one can judge between time wasting and value adding. Supposing\r one pays for the time used, someone will Get Wisdom!

Beat Regret With The Same DNA

Beat regret by filling up the sore with the same stuff that caused the regret.Beat regret because its a terrible thing to be carrying around. No human being, worth his salt, should have to bear such a burden. Funny thing about it isthis miserable malady is self-imposed. Yeah, can you believe it?

Lets face it. Deep down inside, regret satisfies some kind of need. Right? At least that is what the psych books say, right? Maybe it is some form of martyrdom, who knows. I can see how regret my scratch the back of an overdeveloped conscience. Yeah, and maybe it sooths the pains of a demanding perfectionist. I know you have seen the type.

But, what has me puzzled is, I have some very normal friends that are carrying around some regrets. Well, if you must get down to it, I have some regrets. When I catch myself stroking the fires of this regret world, I immediate try to correct my thinking. But nevertheless, I have regrets. I don\’t like it because it saps the energy out of me.

Smart and common sense people pick up the the mantle of regret, and crown themselves with a big R on their forehead. And here is the tough part, every morning when they walk to the bathroom, and, guess what? Why they look at themselves in the mirror, just checking to be sure, that big R for regret is still still displayed.

It is understandable why regret gets to stay with everyone. First of all, regret is very silent and unobtrusive. You hardly know it is there. I mean, like it fits in with its surroundings. So how are we going to beat regret?

In many respects, regret makes an excellent guest. It would be, except for the fact that, most people walking around with regret, are very unhappy. Its not that they are totally despondent.

The best way to describe the regretful person is, like he or she is carrying around a very heavy bowling ball. You know they would love to dump it. Get rid of the ball. But normally, these regretful people have been carrying this weight around with them for so long, that it just seems part of their normal daily existence. This is why we need to beat regret.

The problem with regret is, it seems so wasteful. We all know how the price of gas is, right? Well, playing the regret game is about as constructive as placing a brick on the accelerator pedal for one-half hour and just burning up the gasoline and money. It makes about as much sense. Here is a real need to beat regret.

I mean, when you get thru one of these regret sessions, you are usually, exhausted and burnt out. There doesnt seem to be much energy left for the remaining tasks and challenges waiting for you during the day.

So, my question is, what do we do about it? How do you stop regret from occurring? How do we beat regret? Get a lobotomy? No, I dont think so. Thats not very practical. If we look at regret objectionably, we can see that regret represents a big festering sore. It has to do with something, for whatever reason, just didnt go down well with us.

At the time, whatever went down, probably seemed ok with us at the time. But now, those series of events which we are regretful about, dont just seem right to us. We feel now, that we should have done better. We need to beat regret.

Well, Congratulations to all of my regretful friends! We hit the nail on the head. Just being the owner of regret indicates we have grown or matured since those early learning days of handling challenges that we faced or screwed up.

If we had not developed our judgement since those troubled days, we would not be walking around with regret. So, lets give ourselves some credit for something good. ..we have learned and matured. But, we still need to beat regret.

The old saying, You got to fight fire with fire, surely applies to the regret challenge. In another words, if we want to banish regret from our lives, we have to stuff that festering sore with the same DNA that caused the problem.

What do I mean? I am talking about relationship doctoring. If you are regretful about a failed marriage, then make sure you dont goof up your present relationship by committing same mistakes you made with that failed marriage.

If you regret the way you treated your spouse, in the early years, then redouble your efforts now, in the manner that you know you should have acted way back then. I can give you a personal example of this.

Many years ago, my marriage was going along, not so great. I mean, we were co-existing, and thats about it. One day I got into martial arts. Before I knew it, I was learning about giving respect to people. Guess what? Soon, Mr. Respect was a member of my home. I began showing respect and courtesy to my wife.

She loved it. Subsequently, she started giving me the respect and courtesy treatment. I thought this was wonderful. I am happy to report that my marriage is now on a very solid ground. Oh, an incidentally, thats the real reason I obtained my Black Belt. My wife wouldn\’t let me quit martial arts. I can beat regret.

Some of you regretful people are carrying a heavy burden about the fact that you were not the greatest parents in the world. For whatever the reason was, you just didnt give your kids enough love, time or attention that you feel you should have. So what do you do? How do you beat regret?

I can think of two things. Number one, try to re-enter your childs life in a positive manner. If that is impossible, then go to number two. Pick a surrogate. Thats right. Be a mentor, big brother or tutor to some kid who needs and appreciates some help! The kid will love you for it and you will give yourself a pat on the back for doing it.

I grant you this is strong medicine for getting rid of regret, but it is worth it. You will feel like a million bucks and you wont have that old feeling of inner pain and fatigue. Dont forget, you are already over 50% of the way towards your cure. Just by the fact that you own some regret, means you have matured and developed to the point, that you realize could have done better. Good luck.

You\’re Only Human

No matter how much positive energy you have, and no matter how enlightened you think you are, there are going to be times when you find yourself in another place.

All too often those of us who are aware of our spiritual nature forget that we are also human, and subject to human emotions, depression and negative energy.

You are here to experience the human condition and for practical experience it doesn\’t really matter how spiritual you think you are-you will experience all things physical. What your spiritual awareness or enlightenment brings to you are opportunities to experience something really positive when things are crashing down around you. All your awareness does not serve you and is of little value if you cannot put it to good use in your human experience.

To maintain your positive energy and forward motion it is good practical sense to surround yourself with people and things which represent that positive energy. The more sources you have of positive energy the more likely you will maintain your own higher levels. We are surrounded daily by people and circumstances which offer us opportunities to test this energy. These opportunities are gifts as they bring positivity into your awareness and a chance to demonstrate it. You cannot be positive if you do not know you are positive.

It is important you have many sources of this positive energy. It is not good practice to rely on only one source-sources fluctuate and dry up. Be careful to select people and places which offer the greatest potential to recharge your batteries. It is not important that you should always be giving, and the greatest gift you can give to another is an opportunity for them to give back to you. It is a wonderful time that allows them to express themselves positively-to demonstrate who they are and it doesn\’t always have to be about you-giving.

It is important and practical for you to recognize when negative thoughts or events come into your awareness as early as possible. It is you opportunity to turn the situation around in your head. It is also an indicator of how high or low your positive energy levels really are. It may be an occasion to positively demonstrate your wisdom and turn things around in your favour. It is important not to be negative about negativity. View these occasions as positive opportunities and not life threatening events-you are human, and you are subject to human emotion and feelings-it is a blessing, not a sentence.

My first realization of this occurred when I was a young boy and I deliberately stepped on a priests toes several times to get his attention-he was angry with me!

It\’s OK to be spiritual, holy, aware, full of positive energy, and still experience emotions. At the time I was devastated, but soon realized I would also be angry if someone steps on my toes several times. All too often we place ourselves and others on pedestals and expect them and ourselves to live up to unnatural expectations.

The truism, \”You\’re only human\” is a natural fact of life. It\’s good to remember it from time to time while you are trying to be something more than human.

Growing Conflict and Hostile Hypocrisy With Everything We Say Being Revealed

The momentum appears to be increasing. Numbers are increasing The pace is becoming faster. The conflict is becoming sharper.

There is this growing open conflict between Jesus Christ and the religious leaders of the day. That very often happens. There is a conflict between Jesus Christ, the Lord, the King, and those who thought they were important people. Many are gathering around Jesus for various reasons, but Jesus priority is to teach disciples. Jesus wants to give His Chosen Men words of advice and encouragement.

It is good to take time, to look at scenes in the life of Jesus, the ministry of Jesus, the methods of Jesus, the priorities of Jesus and this growing conflict which confronted Jesus.

His resolute determined decision is to go to Jerusalem - to face Jerusalem and the Cross with all the accompanying painful agony and shame.

Jesus is going to carry out His Father\’s Will. He is not giving in - not taking an easier route - not compromising - but facing it - confronting it and showing these disciples and us what it is really like.

All this is being done to save us - to show us mercy - to offer man forgiveness - to wash us from our sin - to rescue us from hell.

In the middle of all that is going on, Jesus wants to give His Chosen Men words of advice and encouragement.

Over the years many have said, \”If only the Church would keep to the teaching of Jesus - forget about all the doctrine - all this teaching what you should believe - about sin and obedience - if only people would hear the words of Jesus and try to live as Jesus lived.\”

There are those who think that doctrine clutters up the Church - NO. False doctrine does. If there is no doctrine - no teaching - if we do not know what we believe and why - soon there will be no church - not that will ever happen - because Jesus will just give the kingdom to others.

\”If only we kept to what Jesus did and taught - without things like having to be born again.\” Now, I have heard that, but it was Jesus Christ Who said it.

But that is part of what Jesus taught - and part of what He did, and does, is pour out the Holy Spirit. We need to be able to answer people when they confront us with very real questions. Many are sincere. They would like to live the way Jesus lived, but man cannot until he is born again, and even then it is hard.

Jesus never offered disciples a soft cushioned road to walk.

When you hear people saying, \”If only the Church would stick to what Jesus did and said and taught, without having to go to services and meetings and that clutter.\” - think of that in the light of these next words.

\”Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees which is hypocrisy.\” What does Jesus mean? Watch out for those who come along - whose hypocrisy could affect you - negatively - in a bad way - and give you a bad experience - like yeast in bread - influencing you in a wrong way.

There are times when I have wanted to ask people - \”Eh, which words of Jesus do you want us to keep to, and which words of Jesus would you wish us to ignore and overlook and forget?\”

Beware of the Pharisees. Jesus pointed them out to be hypocrites - those legalistic puritans - and they could influence you negatively and adversely.

The Christian Life is like a journey, and what Jesus is doing here is pointing out some of the hazards along the way. There are hazards - pitfalls - dangers - and Jesus wants us to avoid them. That is why He points them out. You will find this in Luke Chapter 12.

As we travel we need signposts, and Jesus Christ gives us the signposts we need. Jesus warns us of what could hinder us, or even bring us to a halt, but He also shows us the way to go.

Jesus says to disciples, Beware of hypocrites. What is a hypocrite? It is important that we know. It is good to know what the sign means if you are out driving.

Hypocrite is a word from the theatre of the day. If you had gone to the theatre in the first century, and if you enjoyed the play or the performance, you would have come away saying - \”These are good hypocrites. That production had some fine hypocrites in it.\”

A hypocrite was an actor, and what you did was put a mask over your face to portray the part - a sad mask or a smiling mask - a serious mask or a comedy mask.

Jesus is saying to His men, \”Beware of those who put on a front. Watch out for those who are just playing a role in religion.\” No wonder they had this man arrested and crucified.

Religious sham and acting is futile in the eyes of Jesus, and Jesus speaks about hypocrisy as being like yeast. Hypocrisy acts like yeast.
\r 1. You need only a little to affect the lot.
\r 2. Yeast spreads very quickly.
\r 3. Yeast works invisibly and silently and secretly - it works in a hidden way - unseen - sometimes you do not know what is going on.

Nothing is covered up that shall not one day be uncovered. If we try to hide something one day it will be revealed. Many discover that these words of Jesus just happen to be true.

Jesus goes on to refer specifically to our words - to our conversation - things we have said secretly and hypocritically - hoping that only some people would hear us - and hoping that some people would not hear us.

One day, all will be revealed.

Jesus is teaching. Don\’t pretend. What you are on the inside will show up sooner or later - the GOOD as well as the BAD.
